Boy scout camp out

Dad and I went camping on the 13th. There was a lot of people there. This is our new tent we bought for our camp outs when there isn't enough space for our huge tent.

Gathered around for the fire.

Working on stuff!

Earning my Archery belt loop and pin for Tiger Cubs. We also earned our BB gun ones, but I liked Archery much better!

Labor Day Extravaganza

We started our weekend off by leaving friday night RIGHT after school to drive the 4hrs to Houston.

The first morning we went to Johnson Space Center Houston.

This place was so big and had a ton of videos and presentations to watch it took us all day!

Trace liked just about everything there.

If we were astronauts we may look something like this.

On sunday we began at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.

The exhibit everyone liked best was palentology.

Strangely enough Trace knew just about everything we looked at names.

The exhibit covered the beginning of life on earth and evolution.

After the HMNS we hopped over to the Houstons Childrens Museum. We had got City Passes for the weekend and we did not know it was "free" day to the childrens museum, this place was PACKED!

We had a lot of fun though and our favorite part was "Kidtropolis".

After the childrens museum we headed over to the Aquarium.

It was not really a big place and took about 20 min to go through.

Of course we had to stop at Hard Rock Cafe so Dad could buy ANOTHER t-shirt. we ate dinner there since it was only a block from the aquarium.

On monday we had one last stop to make. The Houston Zoo.

Even though it was 9am it was already REALLY hot. A lot of the animals weren't outside.

Avalanche came just about everywhere.

OOOO Kimodo Dragon

This was the end of our Exciting busy weekend. After the zoo we jumped in the car for a 4 hr drive home. We visited 5 museums/places in 3 days.

1st day of school!!

We went back to school today. It was AWESOME! My friends were in my class so it made it pretty good.

Trace goes to his new school now. He has to get up SUPER early and catch the bus when its still dark.

Trace and Avalanche(who hopped a ride in his backpack all day)

I started this blog August 16th 2006. I made it so family and friends could keep up with the kids no matter near or far we were. It was before the Facebook land and Twitter. I had got tired of circulating pics in emails and sometimes forgetting people. I wanted a place where anyone could go and see the pics and feel connected. I almost ALWAYS write from the childrens view point to make it more fun. Also in hopes that in about 2 more years Tea can take it over and be the blogger and leaving me as editor. ;)

So thank you to all our followers and readers! please continue to watch us grow and live! now i will leave you with a few links to some of my favorite past blog posts/pictures.

(this one because it has my brother, Uncle Erich, in it who has now passed away from Colon Cancer)

(this one cuz its when we moved to TX)

(this because TRace was into "scary" stuff and at 2 wanted to be a skelton)

(this one cuz its the last time they saw all the cousins)

(because it was no more diapers!)

Middle of summer!

The week Trace went to Sea Camp at Texas State Aquarium, Mom and I went horse back riding on the beach. It was great, but my butt hurt a lot afterward!

Me getting ready!

Me and puggy!

One of Dads days off we went to Aransas Pass, TX and Port Aransas.

Stopped at "Shell World".

Took a ride on our first ferry from Aransas Pass to Port A. to eat lunch!

This is the public pool in Aransas Pass, it was pretty much the whole reason we went out that day.

It had water slides and 3 pools to swim in!

Texas Road House family night.

Chuckie E Cheese! They got a bunch of new games.

Dads work rented the pool suite at What-a-burger field again so of course we went to swim!
