"me too!"

I wanted to take a picture with mommy.

Title less post

I didn't take a nap today. This is what happens.

We played outside.

I posed for a picture and tried to show my muscles.

And then we went swimming!

Just another hot summer day

My friends had a slip in slide out. At first i waited about 30 mins before i tried it because i was afraid. But then it was fun and it turned to mud so we stopped.
Well i ate some yummy Trix yogurt. I came running in to mom and she started laughing. I said "what? i yick it...i yick it mommy"

Laundry day

I thought I would help mom with the laundry today.

But it was much easier from INSIDE the dryer.

Summer oh summer...

Playing in the sprinkler

we've been riding our bikes

I went to the pool

and I LOVE it!

Daddy throws me

And I want more!

Tea was punished for throwing an hour long tantrum.

Summer!!

So here we are swimming like crazy!
Trace even does a good job swimming with his floaties.

On Mothers Day

I was the unofficial tour guide for the aquarium because I went on a field trip there and I knew exactly where everything was.
Trace OOO'ed and AAHH'ed.

He did NOT want to touch the sting rays, but I did!

He had been waiting all day to see Nemo and Dori. He was so excited he started shrieking thier names and skipping around. He didn't want to leave them.

Then mommy said we had to pose for a picture.

They have a playground there too. Trace tried out all the slides.

Daddy helped me on the monkey bars.

Trace just could not get enough of the slides. Up and down, up and down!

"yook mommy!"

Yook mommy I got "yiptick"
"yiptick not boys"

Same smile

They may end up with the same smile. It looks as though its headed in that direction.

Trace 'n' Boots

The face says enough.

Boys will be Boys

TROUBLE

Beach!

The beach was SO exciting. I found lots of great shells and had fun playing in the sand.
Trace had fun too playing with buckets of water and filling it with sand.

There was lots of sea creatures on the beach this day.
Tons of starfish that were all alive! I think I counted 47.

We thought that these were jellyfish but they are not. They are portugese man o wars. They sting too but it was still alive!

Someones hard hat washed up on shore and inside was a crab. Mom said the hard hat was from one of the off shore oil rigs we saw way far away in the ocean.

WET

RUN!

My Rash!

My rash was everywhere. It wasn't itchy or scratchy. But it was yucky looking.

Exploring Texas

We took a drive down some country roads.
Past fields of wildflowers and amber waves of grain.
Past cows eating in the pasture and the all famous Texas longhorn.
We rarely drive anywhere without seeing cows so Trace has stopped getting excited.
It led us to Baffin Bay. A park, Rv resort, Fishing pier and a great place for us to run around.

As you can see I danced and sang my way instead of strolling.

On the pier we actually saw real live fish jumping out of the water.
Mom said because it was evening it was the dinner time for fish and a great
time for fishing.
All the cacti were in bloom with big yellow flowers that looked like roses.
It reminded me of a song we learned in school.
The yellow rose of Texas.
