A day with things to do...

My girl scout troop went on a barnyard rescue visit. A place that takes in negalected and abused farm animals.

Then we went to the beach for another evening stroll. I dont know why there was a coconut here. It must have traveled from Hawaii!

We collected ALOT of shells.

Camping Adventure

The night we got there we went swimming.

On Saturday we went boating and swimming.

We were in the water by 8:30am on Saturday.

Evening stroll

We went after dinner down to the beach. This time of year there is ALOT of seaweed. We also saw alot of portugese man o wars too. They sting like jelly fish.

Here is a giant drift wood tree.

Whenever we go to the beach we always see lots of neat birds.

Oh and Fatty(aka Tex) came too.

Downtown

We went downtown to the bayfront to go to the boat show.

It was HOT but it was fun seeing all the big boats and getting to climb inside some of them.

On the way there we saw the kite boarding competition. There were so many of them out there in the water.

After the boat show we ate dinner at Joes Crab Shack on the water.

Wildflowers in Texas

We went to a field at someones house off of CR 666. There were flowers EVERYWHERE and they smelled GREAT! Trace and I ran through them and had a great time.
